Students – help us develop 23 Digidex Things !

October 7th, 2019 by Karen Category: Library Makerspace

23 DigiDex Things is an online self-directed learning program currently being developed for you, the student cohort, to expand your understanding of the digital world and allow you to experiment with various tools and apps.

Consisting of 23 topics about skills we have identified as being integral to students, the program will ensure that you can graduate with a set of digital skills in your pocket. And how do we know what you want to learn? Well, it is because this program has been designed by students for students. We are a team of students that are currently studying a range of degrees: from computer science to pre-med to fine arts.

But we also know that every student’s university experience is different, and that’s why we want to get your feedback. In the upcoming weeks, we will be hosting face-to-face workshop sessions designed to give you a more hands-on learning experience. Our program, however, is far from perfect and we would love to get your feedback on what we need to improve. We have heaps of sessions that is bound to pique your interest listed below. So, come up to the Makerspace (on Level 5 of the Library) and be a part of something great.
